Due to my apparent inability to read emails, I spent the whole of today sitting around wasting time because I thought I got into two choirs, when I really just got into one - the one that doesn't rehearse today. Lectures finished at two and I hung around until 5pm before realising I wasn't actually a member of the choir that was rehearsing at 8. Waste of a day AND a major disappointment.

Right, do you know anyone with a Linux installation? Alternatively, make a live USB of Ubuntu, boot up and see if your drive is picked up there.

My guess is that the file system is broken in some way. That wouldn't affect Diskpart from picking it up, but I've had hassle with some USB drives in Diskpart.

They do the second time u try. When u first buy it and plug it into windows os it sets itself up to be used on this. If u go plugging it into apple it won't fully work in order to do that u have to erase format and start all over again. So that it becomes a mac drive. Bit of a bugger. But I'm sure there are apps out there to allow it to work. Without having to do that. Presume It's the same story for Linux.

Like i was told i should buy a dog. but now i fear this dream could be ripped out of my hand before i get a chance. fair enough it will prolly be my grandad looking after him alot but it would be company. i'll be hear for another year ha ha. but like being told that and if i cant will hurt cause ive missed my last dog like theres no tomorrow had him 14 years and i just want a friend back. and now i dont know what to do get one and have him rejected or what.... so frustrating

Saying he's way out of your league it is bit silly,I know loads of people who do "well better" then their perceived level of attractiveness, or could do "well better" then their current GF/BF.
Talk to him.If he says no,you get experience and he gets a mild ego boost.

You also know not to waste your time fawning over them, and can move onto the next potential meaningful relationship.

I get turned down a minimum of 50% of the time. I also have no problem turning down someone who I'm not interested in. Does it matter? Fuck no. No point being in a relationship you won't enjoy.

Why the hell don't people in my house notice that heating is kinda expensive and to just turn it on when we need it?
I walked into the house last night with no-one in it. And the heating was on -_-

And now I wake up this morning and the heating's on.. When every other morning since our boiler was broken, it wasn't actually cold anyways.
Like my job doesn't give me enough money to pay for bills if they go high

The best thing to do is to figure out who's turning it on all the time and get them to pay for it if the bills over a certain amount. In first year I lived with this prat who would ignore the timer on the heating and just having it going all day. We warned her several times but she didn't listen so when the bill came the rest of us just paid our usual amount but told her that when it was divided up it was over a hundred each. She paid the bulk and we didn't have that problem again.
