That concert was insane last night, the academy is a great venue! Got to meet both of them afterwards too :D

Things that didn't go so well, that ****in muppet in tyreland put aside 245/40/18 tyres for me instead of 225s and had none of them in stock besides some unbranded **** he tried to sell me. I wouldnt mind but I have to pay the m50 toll and it's about an extra 7-8€ on petrol.

Also, the q park on Marlborough st. was a great recommendation thank you Shteno. However, I was too early to avail of the 6€ overnight price so I asked the guy after paying for the first hour do I have to drive out and in again to get a new ticket to get the deal, he said no and signed my ticket with 6€ and his name and said show the night guy at customer service desk this when we got back at half 11 and all would be well. Got back at quarter past, no one around, rang the helpline thingy and this sarcastic bastard answers. Says there is no one around and that I'd have to pay the 18€ I owed. I asked him what if I didn't have 18€ left after a concert and he said I'd just have to leave my car overnight. I just couldn't fathom there was no security or no one to call? Gave up on him so I'm gonna kick up a stink later by phone.

I asked kellehers on Victoria Road about the tyres.
225/40/18 at 50 each for a matching set.
Just ring to confirm brand first.

The cheapest remap going, a week commuting on the bus.

Went from spending 1-1.5 hrs a day minimum in the car to not using it for 5 days straight. Jumped in last night and the love was rekindled at first ignition.

As much as I've considered getting the Train to work during the week to save a few quid, I cant.

I feel dirty every time I log onto Irish Rail's website to book a ticket, and end up buying something for the car instead :(

Anyone ever get held up by a cyclist pedalling up Knockmaroon hill?

****ing God Bless him for being lunatic enough to do it but I wonder if he understood that the reason I didn't pass him was because I couldn't see up the hill thanks to the bend that's blind going uphill and being about about a metre and a half further right couldn't see oncoming traffic coming down at speed until the last second

Or the reason I was revving the engine was because he was doing 4kph... and my car can't physically go that slow... it needed some clutch stroking.

FTLG... just walk the bastard up. That was literally creating a hazard

Because the car that was ahead of me did gun it past and nearly headon'd someone coming down.

I'm some what biased as I've wasted money on cars in the last four years and I've just given up really. I'm saving hard so my mind is in a different mindset.

If I was to spend a grand in the morning it'd be

    New laptop

    Dentist + teeth cleaned

Short trip somewhere in Ireland for me and misses.

Jesus, you sound just like me. I've done enough over the last 4 years, tinkering and adding stuff. I was the same with computers years back, spent an absolute fortune on them. You get fed up in the end, waste of money.

Also haven't been to the dentist in years so took out VHI dental plan the other day. They're gonna get a shock come December when the 3 month entry period is up. :D

Saw this advertised at the bus stop. What do you get back from it? I am not sure i would bother putting money into something like this?
