BUYING A CLAAS TRACTOR

    Hi all,

    I need to buy a tractor and have come across a claas 446 tractor, year 2006,
    its a english tractor with 3800 hours in good condition.
    Guy wants 11750 sterling plus vat.

    Are these a good tractor, think they have john deere engine, and price is not bad, i think

    seems very cheap to me, renaults can still make that money i think put sure price it aagainst other class tractors for sale, if its too cheap think why, has it a tax book and seriel number? just sounds too good to be true

    they can be sore on desiel but have many happy owners, alltractors give troulbe.

    well its actually in cornwall in England at present and is home next week so im definately going to take a look

    I'm a big fan of all things Claas and Renault. I spent a good few months with the choice of driving a Claas 697 or a JD 6930 and would pick the Claas every time. Similar power, superior transmission and a more comfortable cab, although I do like the JD Command Centre.

    that would be sound at that money, i think they can be expensive for parts i was told or maybe that was the renult part of them?? tell us how you get on anyway

    sorry for digging it out, but i am also interested in how the story ended. I bought my claas tractor on Mascus it had higher price but i am very satisfied with it.
