To be fair, Blinkhorn never said on twitter that he didn't want to return. I don't want him back, but there is no point giving him abuse on twitter.
I wouldn't have bothered giving him any sort of acknowledgement for his stupid thoughts.

Blinkhorn is a horrible footballer, so chances are there aren't too many rumours about him joining clubs at the minute, especially after being let go from york. So he didn't mention Rovers, but he didn't need to.

I though Blinkhorn was alright with Rovers, never thought he was so petulant off the pitch. His comments after leaving and at the weekend though were just beyond ridiculous. Snide comment when leaving and unnecessary tweets at the weekend.

The mans brain is in his chin and he should have more cop on. I hope he's never back anyway, an absolute in great.

Window closed and no one coming in. But at least Quigley has been showing goal scoring form of late - after a mediocre first half of the season.

Blinkhorn would have been a piss poor replacement for North btw. A good hold up man but not a goal scorer.

    True.

But can we afford to add someone else to the wage bill whether they are available on a free or not?

Any player crossing the pond to us will want decent wages, and like all LOI clubs we have to stay within budget. I think we'll have to forge on with what we have.

Big result against Drogheda, if they win the game in-hand they'll go seven in front again.

Just wondering does this group sponsor Rovers in some way?
Just I don't remember them doing buses to games before recently and there's been other bus companies that have been more consistent with their away buses that probably dont get a mention too often on the official site. So just wondering do you (or anyone else) know if there's a partnership or sponsorship deal involved?

No idea if there is any connection/sponsorship to be honest. Would assume so if giving them publicity on the website. They do mention another bus number but the Irish Concert Travel is definitely the most prominent one. Many on here going?

Just one, Dooley's Express and I wouldn't expect them to mention them on the official site.

3-1 Final Score, Quigley with a penalty for the 3rd (won by Buchanan). Pats lost to Bray and Chris Turner was sent off for Shams so a good night all round!

Fantastic away result at Tolka Park, if they win the game in hand, they could extend the lead to 8 points.

Really looking forward to tonights game. Hard to believe we have only won once in last 14 games in Inchicore! (from the stats on Rovers Twitter account)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,705 ✭✭✭AllGunsBlazing

Yeah, our record there is not great. I'd be happy with a draw but if we play our best football a win is certainly a realistic outcome This could also be Boco's last game if reports are to be believed.:(

But Pascal is making good progress on the injury front and might even make tonight's game!

    C'mon the bit o'red!:D

The Boco transfer is drawing out a fair bit, thought it was a done deal and Pats was his last game. I wonder is Cookie up to some of his tricks and hoping to get Boco for nothing?!
