Hey folks, i've a ford 4610 with an AP/LP cab which is falling asunder with rust. I was comtemplating doing up the existing cab however I saw an ad in classic tractor for C&G cabs based in Clane who have a brand new cab fitted for ~€3,500, it may seem a bit steep but i bought the tractor 6 years ago and she's mechanically perfect and does everything i require it to do. I think a new cab would be the life of it.
Has anyone here any experience of these cabs?
I know they do cabs for the older marques of masseys, fords, etc.

These caught my eye last week - they look plush enough:

If I was in your shoes I would be trying to get another AP/LP cab - they are much better than a C&G!

A C&G will actually not add value to your tractor IMV.

I'd be concerned that they are not CE rated or approved.

I'm not really concerned about adding value to tell you the truth, all i want is to prolong the life of the tractor and to make it safe for my 2 year old young fella although i do take your point about the AP/LP cab, would a cab like this fit?

It looks like it's from a 6610 or bigger

Not so bad Reilig although I'm unsure how the red will compliment my ford blue;), i'll give them a ring tomorrow.

All LP/AP cabs are the same regardless of Ford as far as I know.

Plenty of these still going for export (unfortunately) and should be able to get one from an export.

Given your young lad - I would still not be going with the red one!
