Commuting from Maynooth to DBS

    hi, starting college in DBS in 2 weeks, half thinking of commuting from maynooth because of cheaper rent but I want to know what time the last bus goes back to maynooth from dublin city centre during the week?not moving to maynooth if I cant head out n dublin during the week.

    Last bus to Maynooth leaves at 23:20.

    Also, in future please don't drag up threads from 6 years ago. Usually starting a new thread for a question (unless there's a thread on the first page or 2 of the forum) is better.

    any idea how much the bus is from maynooth to dublin?or a taxi?

    Bus is €2.65. Taxi will be pretty expensive, about €40 probably.

    Taxi is more like €50/60 well at night anyway

    I remember in first year i was going to a 21st in dublin and was looking about what to do about getting back. Taxi back to maynooth got priced at 60 quid at night...i ended up stayin in a hotel for 40 quid and then got the luas to city centre then the 66 in the morning. saving of 12.50 and no late night slog home

    wow thats pretty expensive for a taxi. cheers for the info guys, very much appriciated.guess ill just stick to heading out in maynooth if i decide to commute to dub from there.
