I resume your on the pisstake? The competition has evolved and had a name change, but its still the European Cup to old timers like me. Is the All ireland/Sam Maguire a completely different competition cos its structure has changed radically? European champions are european champions whatever way you wan to look at it.

To old timers like you bet I can give you a few years and of course the are still Euoropean Championd and at the time I was over the moon for them by the same token we are still worthy winners of the ECWC even though the tournent does not exist anymore though a certain party seems to think that makes a difference

Of course. Ye won it and a great achievement it was. In a few weeks when Mayo beat ye to win the Sam Maguire, we'll be All Ireland champions, regardless of how the competition was structured.:D

Of course they did. The club incorporated with the company in 1899. Rangers FC PLC died, hence why this new zombie club has to apply for membership of the SFL and had to pay a membership fee.

You died. You can just get some English company to buy the assets and change their name to something similar and then claim to be the same thing.
