This is not the first story bout them must be some truth to them

On the phone so don't no if this is proper

Abou Diaby's trainer, Renaud Longuèvre (French athletics coach), says some **** about Arsenal's rehab methods: http://t.co/izY49VBP

    English version I think

Translation to video can be found here. Or anywhere else. It's all over twitter anyway. http://t.co/D7GBSuqr (via @DaRealGunner).

Cazorla has to be kept in the middle. Sticking him out on the left would be a complete waste. He's the one who is going to make the difference for us this year, and to do that effectively he has to be the central hub of the team.

I thought it was more a criticism of Diaby himself who tried to push himself too fast before his body was ready ?

Unless he's told to go, he won't be leaving.
Would love to see him come back, but don't think that will ever happen.

Sagna's quotes this morning a bit worrying

Another one pushing for a move in the near future?
    All over Song?

"For now, I just want to play again and again good with Arsenal. After that, we'll see ... Everyone has their destiny."

He's 29. His contract is up in 2014, at which point he'll be 31. Nothing to worry about really, can't see him getting a move to a bigger club.

I wouldn't be so sure about that.
Whats the odds of Barcelona coming in for him.?

Sign him up to a new contract asap. If he wont sign. Sell him in January. Sick of players bitching and moaning. If you dont wanna be here then **** off. Never thought Id be saying this about Sanga tho. When will I learn!!

Easy position to replace without spending a bomb tbh! Surprised at Sagna though, he's two years left on his contract ffs. Pretty unprofessional.

We have seen over the years that Arsenal don't give big contracts to those at 29-30.
So it's nothing new, but i do agree we should offer him a contract now, and if he doesn't want it, sell him.
I notice he mentioned "I'm the only one left from the 2007 crew".
    Disrespectful ****e.

Sagna's quotes this morning a bit worrying

The funniest one came at the end of the BBC article:
Sagna's own contract runs to the end of the 2013-14 season and when asked whether anyone at Arsenal had spoken to him about extending it, he replied: "No, nobody." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19503848

I thought to myself, "No, and if you keep running your mouth like that then hopefully nobody will speak to you about extending your contract."

Haul all of the fúckers out of London sick of this shíte!

Overhaul the team and get players who want to play for the club!

There are plenty of better right backs than Sagna, he'd wanna be carefull.

Though I have a feeling he is just angling to start talks on a new deal.

Would find it hard to see him moving to a "bigger" team tbh

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,783 ✭✭✭emergingstar

At this rate were gonna have to renew contracts every year, getting ridiculous at this stage, he have two years left plenty of time to talk to him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,579 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

Sagna is the best right back in the league imo. There's not many better than him in Europe that would be gettable. I'd hate to lose him, he provides plenty of solidity that most of our players don't.

Try get him to sign a new contract. If he doesn't then just hol him to his current one. Another two years gives us a nice cushion to see if Jenkinson will be good enough or if we need to get a new RB it gives them a season to bed in.

I think he is the best RB in the league but I am def of the opinion, offer him a deal if he don't sign sell simple as

It is, but it's a bad sign.
It's like he's preparing us for his move.
He says we expected RVP to leave, but Song was shocking, like as if Arsenal kicked him out the door screaming.
    ****ty excuse TBH.

I think Song and Sagna were just good mates. It sounds like as if the players knew the writing was on the wall with RVP. I think he'll sign a new contract. Sagna for me was the best RB in the League last year, that moment against the Spuds was the most defining moment of our season last year, and in essence showed what Sagna is all about.

Sure why not, we can do a swap and take their unhappy player back to the Emirates.

    Welcome home Cesc :)
