Jaysus Spurs have been busy. Can't keep up with their business with all the comings and goings. Pity they aren't going to improve though :D

    Come on Arsene, surprise us.

Well at least they are breaking their transfer fee record.
Will be even sweeter to see them fail.

6 hours-6mins-6 seconds left. The sign of the devil and then they mentioned S-P-U-R-S.

I wonder if there's a crowd outside the Emirates waiting for news?
God help them if there is because I see very little happening there tonight. They could get hit by tumbleweed.

Nothing happening at the Emirates to keep him there.

Lads what are Qpr upto at all , they seem to be signing every player that farts in there direction as opposed to Swansea who have been fantastic , Thought that Hernandez could do a job for us ..

So with all that outside of Essien(if it happens) do we have a chance of any one else coming in ....all signs point to no

John Cross just tweeted that Arsenal have not been pursuing Essien.

The majority of Arsenal deals come out of nowhere.

You know things are bad when you're actually slightly disappointed Arsenal aren't signing another Chelsea has been.

    Bendtner deal gone through.

Not really though we knew about Podolski and Giroud months before they signed and most ppl knew about Cazorla for about 2 weeks before hand too

Right so, we're replacing Song, 24, who had 3 years left on his contract, and were under no obligation to sell, with a crocked 29 year old who hasnt even looked like a footballer for about 2 years.

This is the top, top quality you were talking about Arsene? By all means sell players, but dont embarrass the fans and the club by replacing them with other teams cast offs. Again.

Pity it's not permanent. The forty million we'd get for him would round up the kitty to an even 100 mill.

Hope that 60million can play centre midfield when diaby gets crocked

You'll miss the Essien loan and the super secret free transfer of Owen. City might throw someone our way too :pac:

Yeah her names Michael Owen lol

That would mean he would have to get off the bench and I don't think he would fancy that.

    Lol
Everyone thinks they're a football manager in here.
Remember Wenger knows, the board on the other hand knows about money.

We're done - I won't be wasting my evening watching SSN as other clubs strengthen their squads.

Woohoo!! - another transfer window with higher receipts than expenditure

I believe we will sign Essien on loan, and he will do a better job than Song, because he will stay in his position.
    Awaits the Song fan backlash........

I think it could make us more comfortable in attack, and that can only be a good thing right now.

Come on Arsene make it happen.

damn i think we really could mount a challenge this year with 2 or 3 more quality players in the squad but it looks like it'll be next year before we make those signings, at which stage Cazorla will be gone to barca or citeh or united.

    i am losing my positivity!
