Exemptions...

Just wondering if anyone here has any experience applying for an exemption in a subject?
I'm going into the 2nd year of my course and have already done one of the subjects to an intermediate level in another degree, where my course has it at an introductory level.
Just wondering how easily they give out the exemptions and where do I go to apply for them? Thanks :)

You would have to go to the department or school head.
