Liverpool Echo now saying Carroll will be shifted and then we will go after Walcott.

Not too sure how I feel about that .

Whole bunch of footballer accounts got hacked with the same messages. Massive lost op there. At least diss your team-mates or say you've handed in a transfer request.

At least BR is being proactive. Nothing I admire more. Not just dealing with the cards he has. He's looking to create the team he wants and won't let reputation, or price tags get in his way.

Yeah but it does seem a bit daft all the same. Maybe he thinks it will make no difference to the price they'll get for Carroll.

I am aware of that but the OP said if we win tomorrow it will likely be a Sun game,I am pointing out that tomorrow has no effect on it.Villa are not a big draw for Sky so a good chance this is staying a Sat game IMO.

Game was switched to a Monday night the season before last in December at Anfield.
I remember because I had flights booked for it and had to cancel.
ESPN often schedule Liverpool games against the likes of Villa too

Would be happy to see the back of Adam, very disappointed in him. Gave away too many fouls. I had a dislike for him that i had previously only reserved for Vladimir Smicer (champions league final goal excepted).

Fcuk sake,Whatever happened to stuff like...goodluck to you at your new club, sorry it did not work out.:(

I disliked him as a footballer, I'm talking football, that's the way i feel about him

So how official/reliable is the Spearing/Adam stuff? I'm guessing the Carroll stuff will be kept tightly wrapped until the last minute.

I don't think Walcott will happen after that statement today. Dempsey for sure, and think we are waiting on Afellay's decision?

Echo, Telegraph and The Times all reporting it along with Ben Smith of the BBC.
    I'd say it's pretty reliable :)

Maybe I am old school on this but we respect our ex players and always (one of two exceptions) give them a good reception when they come back to play at anfield.

That was posturing by Arsenal today IMO.
I don't think we will get Affelay. I think he'll go to either Spurs or Schalke.

I think affelay is off to shalke, walcott looks unlikely but ya never know come Friday. Safe to say well see atleast one new player in, something to look forward to atleast.

Adam came here because we wanted him. He did his best. It's not his fault he was expected to play above what he is capable of. I wish him the best and it's tough for him that it didn't work out.

Arsenal are in for Dempsey now too

Well it`s not very likely that Charlie Adam is gonna be reading this thread is it?

So he can say "best of luck Charlie" or "fuck off Charlie" and it`s not gonna make a blind bit of difference to anyone really.

BBC saying that Wallcott is likely to stay at Arsenal but that could be wrong of course.

I don't think it will happen, so will there be another target?

Dempsey, Walcott & Sturridge are the main rumours.

I wonder if there'll be another surprise in the next 2 days like there was last week with Assaidi?

Agree with this totally but this is an internet thread not Anfield!

The Times say a decent bid for Walcott will change Arsenal's stance

And as he picks up his second big signing on fee in 12 months I'd say that will cushion the blow of his ex clubs fans being delighted to be rid of him.

It's hardly the worlds best kept secret. If Adam and Spearing go Dempsey in, Carroll goes Walcot in, no out and out striker, then again we didn't have one in the first place.

Anyone know why it "isn't possible to use the scoreboard" for Graham O'Connell? Just wondering what the reason might be..

    True dat.

I still think he`s a decent player tho and should be a success somewhere else.

Shocking tackler tho. A card waiting to happen in every game.

Was wondering that myself. Maybe cos they get a lot of requests for one thing or another and just have a blanket ban on it no matter how sad the reason.
