Any way to find out what my core modules are?

    So this Wednesday I'll be getting my timeslot to register for modules for first year. The past week I've looking at what I'd like to choose and I think I've made up my mind.

    But as I am not sure which of the modules will be core modules there is a chance I've already picked one of them and thus I could do something else.

    The subjects I've chosen have been Sociology and Politics and International Relations.

    And on SISweb it says the preregistered modules are:

    201200 INRL10040: Intro International Politics
    201200 POL10130: The Politics of Great Nations
    201200 SOC10010: Foundations of Sociology
    201200 SOC10040: Sociology in Practice

    Does someone know if these are definitely the core modules? Or if I could possibly drop one of them and do something else within the subject?

    Sociology and Politics don't have core modules. You were assigned to these to ensure you have the bare minimum number of credits assigned to you to ensure you a place and can progress to the next year.
