Hazard with a goal and 6 assists in 2 and a half games. Maybe, just maybe that agent's fee might have been worth it :P.

Young had similar stats this time last year.

    Happy with Shinjiro-san.

Just having a pint in a hotel outside OT with a couple of lads who were in the execs. They're telling me that Nani is gone. Sold. Not in the country. Don't shoot the messanger and it could be bollocks of course

If thats the case, that money better be reinvested. Even though SAF said a few days ago that we're done, didn't he?

Oh I know. Both of them are going to be incredible players. Glad that we managed to get at least one.

Get Dembele in. What a beast he was today! He is the powerful midfielder we need, strong, good passer, dribbler and has a good shot.

At half time I was the most excited I been in a United team in ages, we looked absolutely brilliant after that sloppy goal conceded. Valencia and Rafael in tandem were excellent. RVP's goal shows that we now possess a striker capable of magic from the most unlikeliest of positions.

Cleverly and Anderson were also excellent I think, although at times physically dominated by Dembele.

Kagawa was absolutely brilliant, deserved that second shot which hit the post to be his brace. Rafael was quality going forward but quite dodgy defensively but I'm sure that will be eradicated a good deal with more gametime.

De Gea was excellent except that howler with the mix up with Vidic. That double save in the first half was exceptional.

Once the defence comes back I think we are in for a promising season. We haven't had this many options going forward in years. EXCITED!

Mad to think Rafael actually won 4 out of 5 tackles today. I think he just gets too far ahead and leaves too much space behind him. He was class today though!

Its not all about stats though. He was missing at times positionally like Evra is at times and on a few occasions was bullied by the Greek lad. I agree though the good outweighed the bad and he was very good.

If he's gone he's gone. I never shed a tear for anyone foolish enough to leave United. Very rarely do they achieve anything better in their careers.

It seems that when we play a team with a big strong midfielder we get bullied,Yaya Toure,Fellaini,Dembele have all had success against us.

I've said it numerous times here that I'd love to see Dembele at United. He's big, mobile, can tackle & has vision.

If the Nani rumours are true then reinvest in sending some cash Fulhams way.

Again Dembele really shone when pushed into a more attacking role when Sidwell came on.

It's downright silly to let Nani go, however, if he was going to make way for a Dembele/Fellaini type player, then I could come to terms with it. But if he goes and there are no more signings then I will be sick.

    Highlights of Kagawa's performance.

Just because they were in the exec seats doesnt mean they have any more knowledge than anyone else.

Id say its 50 50 . Either he wants more money than hes worth or he is planning on going when his contract is up .
There has been no transfer request . 30 mill id say hed be worth . If he thinks he can shine in madrid fair enough .
Or maybe a swap and cash for busquets if it was an ideal world.
He probably just holding out for more money and united are calling his bluff .

Definitely something going on with Nani.

If he had a knock/injury he would have been in the stands during the match.

The two rumours at the moment are 1) hes being sold 2) he left OT after not getting selected in the squad in which case he would be in trouble.

Zenit, who were rumoured to be interested, are moving for Hulk.

Only club I can think of that might want him and have the money is Anzhi.

Anyone else notice that Shinji actually has a pretty effective quick slide-tackle? Seen in a number of times against Everton and today. He just swipes in and out, really quickly. I vote we call it "The Katana".

    <3 Shinji.

2 premier league games and 2 Belgians had a superb games. Can't wait for ManUtd Vs Chelsea game to watch Hazard tearing our defense a new one.

Moussa Dembele - Today he had 80 touches, a 98% pass accuracy (49/50), had 2 shots, made 3 key passes, won 7 tackles & completed 9 dribbles

If Young's injury had indeed been serious today (commentators kept talking about ligaments at the time) then it just goes to show how much of a loss Nani would be for you.

    Depth is so important.

Giggs, Kagawa, Welbeck even Brady would surely be ample cover wide left?

Get the cheque book out again Fergie, either Dembele or Fellaini, I'm not fussy, both would be nice ;)

I'm sure Buttner could put a shift in there too. Hes got a good cross on him apparently.

Would also love to see Dembele sign. Brings more technical ability to the table than Fellaini, would be cheaper than him and we'd actually have someone who could go shoulder to shoulder with the likes of Yaya in a match.

If Nani goes we need another winger, simple as.
I wouldn't want to go ahead with Young as first choice for the season.
The CM is a completely seperate issue for me.
There's enough shoehorning players into different positions going on already to be thinking of other options at the club already to fill in.

    RVP talking to MUTV;
"I think I’ll always look back on this game; that we won on my home debut and that I scored a good goal.

It was different, of course. I came here a couple of times before but I always liked this stadium, the size of it. The pitch is big, the pitch is always nice. Now I’m a United player, everyone knows that and I’m looking forward to this challenge. The fans have been brilliant today, supporting us and they gave me a very warm welcome, so I’m very pleased.

It was a bit nervy, but we held on and the main thing was that we got the points today, so that’s out of the way and it was a good day in the end, a good three points."

Despite the sublime technical skill required to execute his tenth-minute strike against the Cottagers, the Dutchman modestly insisted that luck had played a part.

"I think I could only do one thing there because it came with a little bit of a bounce," he said, "and so I had to time it well. Sometimes you’re lucky and I was today, luckily enough.

Training sessions have been very good and with all the guys it’s a process,"
he said. "I have to get used to them, they have to get used to me, because I’ve still only been here a week. We have all the time in the world. I don’t want to rush into things.

I’m not one hundred percent match fit, it’s my first game of the whole pre-season in over a month so I have to get fitter and fitter. I’ll get fitter by playing games, basically, so I still need a couple of weeks before I’m fully match fit."
