I got offered my level 8 at another college and accepted it but trinity also offered me level 7 dental nursing, but obviously i didn't accept it as I accepted my level 8, but I've gotten 3 emails from Academic Registry Trinity this week, am I getting these because I've been offered a place? I just want to make sure that my level 8 course is safe! Thanks

Log into your CAO to make sure you accepted your level 8 properly. Email admissions@tcd.ie and explain that you don't want any emails.

This has been happening to a friend of mine who has also accepted an offer in another college, but she's still getting emails from Trinity. She's definitely got her Level 8 in the other college though and she's getting emails from them as well.

I honestly do not know how to help but I just thought I'd let you know it's happening to someone else as well :)

This is normal and expected. Do not be alarmed ;) Trinity can't know for sure who is going to accept what offer until the cut-off date for changing your mind passes, so for the time being they have sent a blanket email to anyone who has received any Level 7 or 8 offer from Trinity.

I got accepted into a Trinity course a few years ago and never accepted the offer, yet a few days after being offered the course I still got lots of information about orientation in the post.

Don't worry, it's just CAO blanket emails. I got a load of information from DIT in the post a few years ago just before the offers came out and again afterwards (even though they were 9th on my CAO and I got offered my 1st!). As long as it says you accepted your Level 8, you're fine. The emails should stop in a week or two, when new students are given access to their TCD email accounts instead :)
