Ps...saw Tommy Smyth on ESPN last night for the first time. Wow...what a muppet, it's like someone let me granda watch the football in the pub for an afternoon and handed him a mic after a few pints. Sub-tabloid analysis.
to describe Tommy in his own words:

He's as much use as a hand brake in a canoe.

There's something wrong with those links but I've installed the script now. Cheers.

Sorry, I just copied an old post I had before.

They work like a dream though when downloaded

Actually, that doesn't so well in a non-verbal capacity...

It doesnt go so well in a non-verbal capacity either in this instance.

When you watch Roger Federer win while going through the motions in the 1st round of a regular tennis competition against a rookie who is ranked 200 in the world, you say "he phoned in that performance" ie he didnt even bother turning up and still won. You wouldnt say he threw the towel in would you?

Ok, you can let it go now, you are not my English teacher. I appreciate the feedback, but I think we've gone far enough...

Another (supposed) Liverpool target looks to be going elsewhere: Steven Fletcher to sunderland for 12m. Thank f*ck!!
    Steven Fletcher for 12m.
    Matt Jarvis for 10m.

whereas Gaston Ramirez is going for 11m.

English football is insane. Wolves must be laughing.

    OK,

I know im gonna get flamed for this but.....
Mexico ace Hector Herrera insists he not yet held talks about a move to England.

The 22-year-old Pachuca midfielder is believed to be wanted by both Manchester United and Liverpool following an impressive display at the Olympics.

Why would you be flamed for mentioning him?

I mentioned that 90elf were talking about him being a potential LFC target the other day.

Hopefully West Ham's move for Jarvis means they'll come back in for Carroll. Didn't Gollivan mention that their plan was to build a team around Carroll, with Jarvis supplying crosses for him?

Is it ok to start celebrating now?

/puts on Sahin Jersey again and skips around the room.

"ooohh ooooh oooh we've got the best midfield in the world."

some people think Marca is just being used by RM to put pressure on Arsenal to complete the deal minus the option to buy clause.....a strategy it is estimated that Liverpool have used in briefing the likes of Barrett and Liverpool echo that we are not interested in Dempsey so we can get the price down or get him to hand in a transfer request

not sure what to believe anymore, initially i hoped, then the hope died and i resigned myself to the fact he wanted arsenal, i refuse to believe again until someone photoshops him into a liverpool shirt

Beating Arsenal to Sahin would be huge tbh

Why are all the posters posting above then saying we are?

At this stage I don't care if we do or don't, any other goss on Dempsey at all?
