Lab supplies (flasks, loops)

I'm looking to get a few pyrex type flasks, maybe a couple of beakers and most importantly an inoculation loop (preferably metal and reusable) but can't seem to find anywhere that will sell to a member of the public. I am starting a yeast library for my brewing obsession (slanting the yeast). Thanks for the help.

I see they can be expensive to buy as they are coming the USA. Would it make sense to just buy some nichrome wire and construct one myself or is it completely different? (newbie, sorry)

Sorry hadnt noticed where it was coming from, tbh a loop doesnt have to be a loop specifically i've seen plates being struck in hospital labs with the ends of pieces of plastic

any metal tipped instrument that can be sterilized in a flame could be used

Amazon.com have a more extensive range than the .co.uk counterparts. Just not sure on how many suppliers will ship overseas.

Cheers for the help. Lennox was my last attempt and they turned me away. Pity because I was hoping to pick up the flasks in person but they won't serve the public...even though they have done in the past.

I actually ended up getting most of the gear from an Irish brewing supplies site so hopefully the quality will be as good...but you can't beat cheap shipping. Tree, your link to Cathal Garvey's site got me thinking along those lines so cheers for the help.
