    True. didn't know you could actually put stuff there see. What I got was a blank space but nothing would snap to it :(

    I still have a bit of a blank space :p (probably larger than your average space at the top of a phone display) but I'm kinda OCD when it comes to customising my home pages :o So I'm cool with the minimalist non-google-bar look :P

    Each to their own, I guess that's the joy of android :p Customising to your tastes :)

    HMV are cheapest @ €239.99

    Being of a slightly stupid nature I didn't realise you couldn't buy any apps unless you had a credit card . I was just about to get the XDA Premium App thinking I could use paypal :(

    I'd certainly be buying one of these, apart from one misgiving: the size. Posting this from my girlfriend's ipad, the size of which is perfect for what I want in a tablet. Is the seven inch comfortable to browse, read, type on? I played with a nexus in PC world but wasn't sure. Any thoughts?

    A 7" is ideal for traveling - very portable, everything on it. I had a Galaxy Tab last Summer while traveling and used it for a load of different things, even photographs and phone calls. Doing any kind of typing is a pain, though. Then again, you could say about all tablets.

    However, for daily use, I prefer a 10" device.

    I have a first gen 3G iPad and this week got the Nexus 7. Probably gonna sell the iPad now. It does everything I use the iPad for, better IMO.
    The form factor is better, much easier to hold in one hand, casually carry around and use on a plane.

    Hi all, Is there anywhere I pick up one of these this wwek. I had to return mine to PC world as it has screen lifting problem and I was told that they wouldn't have any stock for 3 or 4 weeks

    edit: Just on the PC world forum looks like they might have some stock this week

    I wonder have many people had this issue? Just did some Googling on the problem and wonder is it a manufacturing fault with the first batches? Seems fairly difficult to get my hands on one anyway so thinking it might be best to wait until later in the year.

    I got my son one for his birthday last week (from Currys in Mahon) and there has been no screen issue so far. Will be keeping an eye on it though.

    Great device. Having owned a Archos 101 before I thought anything less than 10 inches wouldn't be enough. Boy was I wrong. I actually prefer the 7 inch now. It feels so much better in your hands.

    Feature and performance wise I'm also impressed. It's so fluid. I was using my dads ipad 3 there yesterday evening and there are some cool features how ever i would definitely say that the nexus 7 is the better of the two tablest on the market at the minute
