A knotless net is easier on fish I'm told (but more expensive).

cant go wrong with a carp style triangular net. Dont get one less than 100cm in width, a 20lb pike would be roughly 100cm, last thing you want is to lose a PB at the net!. Im on the lookout for one as well. broke mine a few weeks ago after 9 years of service
