General weirdness and strange goins on with outlook 2000

Attachments are not being delivered to some addresses. Ok, this could be the recipients have their email set to not accept attachments.

except..

if the mail is forwarded to another person using outlook 2000 (in the same company and using the same email server) and then sent on to the recipient that couldn't see the attachment... he can now receive the full email, attachment and all.

If an email is sent out to 10 people, sometimes about 5 or so of them wont receive the attachment... however this is not always the same 5 out of the ten, it seems pretty random.

me=confused.

rtf format does this

set the Mail format on all outlook clients to be plain text or html

tools/options/mail format

also , do not use MS word as editor if offered .

that could very possibly be it. (the rtf format bit anyway).
