Apologies for not having a link to the story but I'm on my phone so would appreciate if someone could help me out.

Anyway, heir to billions Hans Rausing admitted to living with his wife's corpse because he didnt want her to leave. Obviously enough he has serious problems. The really sad part is that when her badly decomposed body was found her parents were in the room.

Personally I wonder is this something he can ever get over. It's disturbing to say the least but he was obviously very ill & under the influence of class a drugs.

He got two years off the road for drug driving, fined one thousand pounds & committed to a rehab unit for two years.

So what are your thoughts on this?

Speaking of which, you should read up on what happened to Eva Peron's (sp) body.

Apparently the judge wanted to jail him for having sex with her dead body but his lawyers got him off with the defence

I didnt know she was dead, she hasnt moved during sex for years....

Ah sure, it's an easy mistake to make. "Dead? Jasus, I thought she was a bit quiet."
Anyway, isn't the whole tetrapak ethos keeping stuff fresh for ages?

    Either

'Suppressive Person' as coined by self-proclaimed Scientologist, Tom Cruise in the ever increasingly popular interview seen on youtube where he can not control his laughter and brags about stopping to help people who are in accidents along the highway.

    (Sexual) service provider; courtesan; prostitute
The Canadian Escort Review Board has a SP-only section to warn each other of bad johns.

    or

    SP
    Sex Party

The #1 answer to all the questions.
John: Hey, what did we do in class yesterday?
    Brasil: SP.
John: Bitch! Don't lie to me!

Maybe I am the only one, but I find this terribly tragic.

However rich they were, this is the story of people with much promise who were utterly consumed by drugs and personal demons.
That they could descend to such depths - alone, given what wealth they had, is so sad.

Most of us dream of winning the lottery, assuming it will solve all our problems. These guys were worth thousands of our weekly lottery draws yet still ended up like this.

Apparently she was a lovely and generous person, shame that is not what she will be remembered for.

What happened is awful but there is no victim BS to buy into unless it is proved that he husband suffers a mental disorder. Do not pander to an addict.

    As far as it goes...

The man is obviously deeply troubled and I feel pity for him. He won't live much longer himself if he doesn't address his problems, starting with the intense social anxiety which has led to his rampant drug addiction.

Money doesn't make you happy. The old cliche seems apt in this case.

This is a completely different thing to Fritzel ffs. Ditto kidnapping, abuse and cannibalism.

It's a person having a massive breakdown due to intense grief.

Her resting place, the court heard, was a squalid room to which entry was banned for anyone but the couple, and which for the last four years had become their home as they retreated from the world in the grip of a drug addiction that had blighted their adult lives.
His wife had not long returned from California on 29 April, and had seen her financial adviser on 3 May, because she had been concerned about her husband's increasingly chaotic lifestyle.
Rausing's only human contact was with his wife, on whom he was completely dependant, the barrister said.

It seems to me from the small amount of information given in the article that his wife was a functioning addict. I wouldn't need to look to far for a motive if this was a CSI episode.
During a search of his six-storey home in Cadogan Place later police noticed the staff were hesitant when they asked for access to the second-floor annex.

The staff must have been fairly suspicious themselves. I wonder why they didn't mention the smell and then not seeing her for two months when she seemed to be the person who was in control enough to have contact with them and the outside world. And why were her parents allowed to be present when the search was taking place especially once the smell alerted the police to the fact that there was a decomposing body somewhere on the premises?

Tests showed the presence of cocaine, morphine, temazepam and diazepam in his body.
Rausing also admitted driving while under the influence of drugs, and received a two-month concurrent suspended jail sentence for the offence.

One law for the rich and one for the poor - a two month suspended sentence for driving under the influence of drugs! Is there not a law yet where it's a mandatory two year off the road sentence for drugs as well as alcohol?

    Wow that's incredibly sad :(

Grief is one of the strongest emotions anyone will ever experience in their life, it can entirely change your view on reality. The poor man must have been going through hell.

Look no further than "tragic" Katy French. But your local neighbourhood cocaine addict is just a scumbag.

I agree, I'd say he's been out of it since it happened. Although, the smell was obviously bad enough for him to do something.
"There was a bed and on top of it a pile of clothes and other material. It was under this pile of clothes that a body in an advanced state of decomposition was found.

"It was noted subsequently that some deodorising powder had been used on the clothing and items on top of the body,"

I have followed this story since it broke. What I can't understand is, there is hardly a mention of the 4 kids at all.
