to get the gilmour sound???

    gilmour sound with a les paul and an epiphone amp and a me 50 pedal board???
    is it feasible/achievable or should i switch and swap my les paul with a 57 strat

    You need a strat, a Hiwatt amp, a butler tube driver, a Cornish pedalboard that will cost you thousands, a leslie speaker, and Dave Gilmour's fingers.

    To answer your question, you should be able to do it with the strat and the ME50. Set a compressor, big muff and flanger effect with the me50, neck pickup on the strat.

    was using the ordinary blues driver with the flanger !!!!and the sound is so much better with the big muff
