I seen her live only once upstairs in whelans she was ok.not amazing though.with her apple mac and keyboards .and very busy on stage. ..pedals,programs too much.I thought she needed a hand up there.,,but no complaints about the music.. definitely not your average performer.

As soon as you mentioned female singers I thought of Austra. I've been mad into them lately. I love the EP version of that song, too.

I liked Katie Kim a lot when I saw her supporting somebody else, I keep meaning to actually get some of her stuff.

She's great, her lyrics are very good. I'd start with Vaults it's solid throughout, her new album is good too Cover & Flood, it's got some pretty weird shít thrown in there too! Some tracks are less than a minute long but feel like she could have explored them more.

oh and yes Austra are phenomenal, I can't believe that album passed me by last year. I only picked it up about a month ago.
