I've noticed this forum has had a lot of talk re-shaving etc, and I've bought some recommended stuff from here over the past while, but I have just... 'given up' recently and let the beard grow!

Anyone else sporting one and prefer it over clean shaven?

I'm getting sick of people asking me how long it took me to grow my beard and when I say either I don't know or if an apx time they seem to think it took a long time but a beard is like any hair it only grows to a certain length no matter how long you have it.

But I did a stupid drunken thing >5 years ago a clean shaved my face because I could not remember the last time I had do it, but I will NEVER make that mistake again....

I've have one of those short beards for the last few years, it's probably what most bearded people would call, a bit of dirt. I've decided to finally grow it out to something decent and see how it goes.

Shaving was never something I liked so going from trimming bits to letting the whole things grow was easy and with a very short scruffy looking period.

I've been tempted to shave what I have off completely quite a few times but the girlfriend prefers it so now I'm going the other way.

I've caught the shaving bug and have a load of the stuff, but my face is also about half beard, just keep it neatly shaven.

I had to shave it... But now it's staying till at least my Birthday in January

Probably too late but since you have a before/after shave pic.. do a time lapse of a photo a day growing a beard.

Hi I'm Dave and I've been bearded now for 3 months.

It's been a long road and a struggle at times. I've had lapses and shaved but I'm on the road the a long and shaggy beard :cool:

I've had a beard on and off now for last few years... I'm sticking to it this time
