Greyed out wifi

    Hey peeps,

    Have an issue with an iphone, the wifi bluetooth is greyed out and you cant toggle it on or off, the ipad is jailbroken so i am wondering does anyone know of any software fix's for this iphone beith via cydia or standard restore that have been successful?

    Much appreciated, i have tried both these, including upgrading and downgrading the ios and to no avail :( only think i can come up with is a damaged wifi/bluetooth chip.

    Incase anyone is experiencing the same issues on ios 5.0.1 or below, i have just upgraded to 5.1 & it seems that it is a software issue and apple have fixed in up in 5.1

    I have the same problem today, I noticed my wireless was very intermitent last night, now today its just totally gone

    I have done everything, reset all settings, network settings, airplane mode, restored iphone several times,

    I was running 5.1.1, I downgraded with redsn0w to 5.0.1, same problem, upgraded again, problem persists, phone is only 6 months Id say, so still in warranty (if i still have recipt from meteor ? ;) )

    eta have no receipt ? can meteor verify its still in warranty through its imei number or something ? bought last dec, Im on bill pay

    Is this phone a 3gs?

    Turns out that the restore was a fluke and when i restored it again, it did the same again
