    I hit f9 and record upon every player interaction, I have many such uninteresting recordings. I made a post because in my opinion players who consider alt+f4 as a solution/option are playing the game wrong, and a one or two day ban is enough to get the message across for first time offenders.

    By my logic and your words, I believe you are playing the game wrong.
    Firstly you don't know whether or not he DC'd he may have aborted in a normal fashion. Secondly if there is no other interaction between you and another player other than you waffling to him where is the duty to remain ingame? Thirdly 3 minutes may not be long when you have hours to play but if you have other things to do there has to be some time at which it is reasonable to leave and 3 minutes is well enough!! And lastly you said yourself that his leaving, possibley due to a fear that he was about to be taken for a ride by you and your friends was "no fun" leads me to believe that your intentions were not charitable in the least..

    But most of all, irregardless of all this he should be able to leave the game if enough time has passed so as he is certain that he won't be disconnecting to avoid a firefight with another player.

    possible DC'r at electro power plant at 19:14/15.

    Took a shot at him with a DMR and by the time I swapped back to my L85 he was gone from thermal. He was at the top of a ladder at time of the shot so he couldnt have gone far. no sign of him after either

    I just got kicked from the server twice. It just game up "You were kicked from the game" instead of the usual Battleeye has timed out. Any had this issue before?

    Anyone else's Arma get screwed up since the update?

    Can't bandage / equip melee because the right click menu appears behind the inventory.

    Plus the interface has been set back to small which won't change back to Normal in video settings, impossible to read on the TV.

    EDIT: Screw it, got it fixed. Update overwrote OA files so had to verify it again.

    Got that a lot yesterday. No admins were on at the time so no one was kicked intentionally.

    Yeah I seemed to have fixed it by validating ARMA2 and OA, discovered theywere both missing a file

    Just found the motherload after wandering for days up north. Sorry to whoever parked their truck outside the airfield but i just had to take it and bring it away to better pastures.Full of fn-fals,m-24's remingtons you name it, ammo for most guns in the game, 12 jerry cans of fuel, spare wheels, full of food/drink, loads of medical supplies etc etc. I'm now essentially a mobile shopping centre. But like others im probably too afraid to move out with it for fear of losing it all :o.

    This has been addressed in a previous post.

    As a result of hackers, a they can be heuristically kicked automatically by battle eye.

    The only downside to this is that the heuristics isnt 100% and innocent players can be kicked also.

    The following was posted on reddit at http://www.reddit.com/r/dayz/comments/x4d3t/instant_kick_fix_steam_updated/


    Step 1: Close steam, and launch it again as Adminstrator.
    Step 2: Right click on Arma 2 in your steam library, then click on Properties, after that click on the Local Files tab, the click Verify integrity of game cache. Then wait for that to finish
    Step 3: Repeat Step 2 but instead of Arma 2 Verify the Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead.
    Edit: Step 4: After you have gotten that done, launch Arma 2, close it, then launch AO, then close it.
    Step 5: Now launch Sixlauncher or whatever you use, and you should be able to connect!

    Cheers. Took about 10 tries to get in because apparently some Rabbit file of mine was not right. That'll be my Rabbit hack which allows me to command all rabbits to do my bidding. Beware the rabbit army!

    I am willing to help you out to move and protect the truck, all i ask is that you give me lifts to places, i am armed to the teeth and will supply my own fuel for the truck, i`m not out to to get your truck if thats what u are thinking, as u see i suffered a hugh loss a couple of days ago, i lost my first love, my tractor!.....man i loved that thing, but it was ripped my my big strong arms in its prime, someone stole it, now i want to find another one, but running everywhere is a bi**h and risky.........


    ps. is was a player called "stryder" and goes on ere by "Goro" on ere who stole it, and left behind this broken 1/2 man survivor now.....................

    It rains a lot yes, but I don't get this fog thing :confused: I've only ever seen fog once in Day Z and man that sh!t is thick! You can only see a few feet ahead of you so it's handy for sneaking around citys. Yet to see fog on IE1.

    I know what you are saying. I shout "Friendly" maybe 5 times, i have no beef with anyone, but they shoot me any way!!...i`m gettn sick of it now aswell. Soon,very soon i`m gunna shoot first..............so sick of trying to be "friendly"..............where is my tractor!!!....lol

    Jaysus you nearly have me in tears with your tractor story ;) i'm sure she was a lovely machine! I should be on after work tomorrow and if you are close enough i'll meet up with you and you can gear up from the lovely ural.

    lol..that tractor changed my life man, i was an alco and drug addict until i sat in that seat...now i`m clean since that great day :D....cool, i`ll be logged on ere and will be on tomorrow for sure!

    Sure deadeye and goro if ye end up travelling together i can pick ye both up and ye can come to camp lazarou. We can have some rabbit and steaks and shoot up with some auto-morphine injectors :P

    Ok as long as you have me home by 11. Shang Tsung gets angry when I come home late. Oh and don't pick me up in a Lada, I have standards you know! :P

    sound like a good time, i`m in!...i think goro is up for it for sure. wanna be carefull not to OD on the morphine...we can smk sum rabbit hair get us nice and high, get us ready for action!.....till tomorrow then we`ll meet!
