You have to install Java to test the packet loss.

I keep losing my radio with this poor speed, and have had a couple of brief total outages.
To be fair it's been pretty good recently, averaging over 4 rather than just under, and last call I had from eircom trying to get me back, they said the line was only rated for 5.

Somewhat better than Friday evening, but this is typical of what it's been all over the weekend.
What happened to my recent 4+ speeds that I'd come to hope were "normal".

    Still no better.
But judging by the comments on the Vodafone speed thread, complaining is a waste of breath and time.

Does anybody know why the shared results seem to go blank after a while? I thought I'd done something wrong when I posted on the 30th, but I took care to preview the post on the 3rd and it all looked fine - now it's blank.
Anyway, it was speeds of under 1Mbs but I'm glad to say 4+ has been restored.

 Well - now most of them are showing again. Maybe there's some weird caching thing, or images just slow to load - except the Speedtest graphic was coming up fine, just with blank results all across.

    So here's the improved rate:

I'm from Kerry and I get Cork?? :/ I'd have expected Limerick rather than Cork though!?
Interesting considering I was told that my broadband has been upgrade to the new generation ones? Not likely if its only 3MB roughly! :(

Dublin? Must try my other internet broadband! hmmm...

Can anyone help me with this? I'm on the Eircom NGB 8MB package :( and this is my speed:

I know you can't expect the full whack, especially with the crappy Eircom network, but should I expect/demand better speeds than this? It's always been around 2MB down, .4 up. Thanx.

Paying for 24Mb NGB. Used to get 18/19Mb. Now it's 15Mb.

DSL connection drops every 5 mins. literally.

I'd take 10Mb stable over 15Mb unstable.

Supposed to be on a 10mb UTV package but this is the average speed in the evenings, often less, rarely more
