A small two-seater plane has made an emergency landing at Newcastle airfield in Co Wicklow this evening.
The chief flying officer at the airfield, John Nugent, said the two people onboard on the plane were not injured but the plane was destroyed.
He said three units from the fire brigade are at the scene but the plane did not go on fire.

Only a few weeks ago that I saw shares for this a/c advertised on the FII website.
Glad that the people weren't hurt.
