    Hi all,

Just wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to get a sound similar to what is on this Oasis track. Not a major fan of the band, but always liked some of the string synth type sounds they used to colour songs.

It's in this at the 2:40 mark and on the fade out

The first track on Noel Gallaghers HFB album uses what sound like sampled vocal chords too. Maybe they are not samples though...

Any keyboard would do really with some sort of patch to replicate it easy enough

as for any audio application or virtual studio like reason or something with a piano roll would be able to do it easy too just a matter of getting a sample and going for it

The first one sounds like a Mellotron. There's plenty of good Mellotron vsts out there, they do the choir sounds too.

    I like this one, it's free: http://www.millionloops.com/tape-mellotron-vst/
