Hi this may sound like a silly question. If i block someone on my Gmail contacts list will they know they have been blocked or is there anyway they can find out? Thanks

How are you going block them.

As far as i am aware the only way to do it is to mark them as spam (Then the message goes into your spam folder) or filter messages from that person straight into your bin.

Either of those ways, the person will not know anything.

no they won't know. they dont get bouncebacks either because gmail doesnt want to let spammers know that they're wasting their time.
