What was the name of the first person in London that was burned at the stake on 13th july 1625 ? some of those questions are not worth knowing as what use are they in todays terms.

Yeah did anyone know the actual answer to the faminie one? I guessed completely :D

Yeah - I actually knew that one.
I didn't remember from school though - I did some module in college that included stuff about the famine.

I got 12 right but most of those were compete guesses. Meh.. they seem like rather irrelevant questions, I don't see why having a good knowledge of such things would give someone more of a right to call themselves British. Surely instead of historical questions there should be ones that are actually relevant to how society functions today.

    True test.

Do you want to see Andy Murray beat Federer today?

    a) Yes, because he's British

    b) No, because he's British

    c) No, because he's the most unlikeable miserable git ever to play on Centre Court

    10. I'd be interested to see an Irish version of this.

I only got 13, but I was born, brought up and educated there (and was taught history by an Irish priest :pac:) :P.

If they applied the test to everyone in the UK, and threw out everyone failing it, the population would then be less than it is here.

I done better by just guessing...
You scored 8 out of a possible 15
Commiserations - you failed the sample British history test.

next time you get a test just guess and you will do better. :pac:

I got 4 correct & got the famine one right at least.

What kinda engineers did they have in the middle ages? Definitely thought they were the answer to that one. Trebuchet engineers probably to design the latest hi-tech weaponry :)
If this was the real citizenship test you would need to wait a week and pay £50 to take the test again, and hand over your British passport

    NCT for foreigners! suckers...

Got 11, and I'd have thought I had a pretty extensive knowledge of British History. Pointless test IMO.
