    Hi there,

I have been selling some musical items on ebay for over a year now.

I have tried lots of different listing ways to see what works best including an ebay shop.

I have also used auctiva twice during that time...for a month each time...and found it didn't help at all.

The best thing I think (and what I do now) is just to be a private seller with good ads and you can put a "check out my other items" link at the bottom of each ad if you like.

Unless you are going to be selling many buy-it-now items a shop or auctiva are not really necessary...just make a very good clear ad and communicate well with any buyers.

I think most auctiva users are just trying to save on the picture fees for listings...but if you use Photobucket you can upload your pics there for free and then put them in your ads for free too...so you can save the costs there completely which actually are most of the listing fee if you have more than 1 pic ;))

Oh and also I found getting a good picture extremely difficult, esp. indoors on a dull Irish day! The best thing is to take them in the brightest place possible (maybe outside if needs be) and against the most reflective white surface you can find...like a big sheet of glossy paper/card for example.

    Hope this helps,
If you have any questions feel free to ask and I'll try to help ;))
