BTEA Fetac?

My brother is just finishing up his leaving certificate now after receiving BTEA for his course.Does anybody know,if he went for a level 5 fetac would he be disqualified because he has sat the leaving cert? cheers

Surely a Level 5 Fetac is a progression from the leaving cert. He would probably have to reapply for the BTEA since he is doing a new course but I dont see why he wouldnt qualify. If it is a Level 5 course he is doing, the VTOS might suit him better. He should talk to his local social welfare office or contact citizens information.
