    So, like it or loath it? Will the good folk of AH embrace our new glossy overlord, or will ye vote with your, err, feet? Personally, I'm a stick in the mud, and hate change, I like AH as it is.:)

    I always used the Beta skin, so I don't think there's too much of a difference.

    If you go to more areas than AH, if you follow them at the top right you can easily switch to other sections on boards. Handy that. Its different in that for people who used the custom skin it is brighter than I'm used to. I used to use the Star Wars one I think.

    Not too bad, except for the notifications in the top right for all of my subscribed threads that I don't actually follow, mixed in with PM notifications. Actually for that, and the header that follows you, I hate it.

    Ya I noticed that, it's nice. I like the contrast and I like the style of icons, the thanks and quote and that.

    I tried it and didn't like it so I switched back but now the little read page that used to fash in the corner if I had a reply to a thread is gone!! WT actual F!.

    I like it, it'll take a little bit of getting used to but I think it is better than the standard skin.

    Navigation is as easy if not easier as it's neater, the control panel access is much more convienient. The breadcrumbs is as good if not better, even with it's slightly see through look and "my forums" is right there, I never looked at that until I started using the mobile version and it's great to see it used on the main site.


    As with all things change scares people, but I think if you compare layout and features reasonably and without bias it is a better skin.

    Disgrace it hasn't been changed sooner. It needs a bit of fine tuning with some of the colouring but I actually quite like it :o

    Thats my main problem with it.
    I tested it in Maxthon Browser with its night mode function (darkens ANY background to a colour of your choice).

    perhaps allowing customizable skins for subscribers could be a revenue generator option

    such as adding different font types, adding more background images and even adding personal smiley images with key mapping to use them
