Vision of a child behind a door

    I've never read or looked into these kinds of things. To be honest, they've always scared me, and I hoped they would never happen to me.

    In my life right now: I'm an RN, thinking about going back to work after being a stay at home mom to my 3 boys: ages 7/2.5/5months.
    After weeks of going back and forth about permanent birth control, my husband and I just decided to have a 4th and final in the next year or so.

    For the past few months, I have had feelings that someone is missing. Ex: We will all be walking toward the dining room, everyone is there, and I have an urge to yell for someone else, and I look toward our kid's hallway (where all of their bedrooms are). When we had talked of not having another, my heart felt broken.

    Today, as I was rocking my youngest I had the first vision I've ever had. I haven't taken any medicines, I wasn't falling asleep. It was right in front of me.

    I am looking at the two people from the back a child, and an older man. It looks like a picture, very little movement, and I can't look around. I see his legs from the thigh down, and he has a hand on the child's shoulder/head. I don't know his voice. I think the child might be a year and a half old. The room is dark/dimly lit, and they are peeking out of the door that is cracked about 12 inches. On the other side of the door it is bright.. it almost looks like an outside sunny day but I can't see anything outside. He tells the child, "You have to wait, they aren't ready for you yet." I cannot tell if the child is a girl or boy.

    I immediately called my mom in tears (She is the only person I've ever known who has had these kinds of visions), and she said that it's not our 4th, the light is crossing over. She said a child has died, and that light is heaven.

    My mom has had visions of death/near-death(she will feel a sudden urge someone is in trouble at the exact moment they have a near death experience) and people who have passed her whole life. Every single one has been death related. I know they are real from the things they say, and the details she sees. Ex: A friend of mine overdosed and we had no idea what happened, she saw the coroners van pull up to his apartment, and she said he left with Scott B or Scott P. (We assumed this was who he was partying with the night of the od, and I tried to search for a friend named Scott to get answers from about the night.) She could describe his apartment complex, the van, everything down to details, but had never been there. After talking with his mom, she had a young brother die when they were children. They called him Scotty.

    Has anyone seen anything like this before? Are all visions similar, where the light is always heaven? Is it death? Like what my mom sees? Or could it be the child we are hoping for? Is it a happy vision? Or is it a warning not to go back to work, bc my youngest is going to die soon? Are visions ever premonitions? Or does everyone have them after the fact, the way my mom does?

    I just don't understand why I would be sent an important message that was so unclear. Is it likely I will see them again? Can I interact with them?

    ye are putting off havin another till nt yr or whenever and you have a vision of this child with man and he says they are not ready yet,its pretty straight forward i think,i dont believe what your mother thinks sry, you felt someone was missing maybe they are just lettin you know he/she is on the way at some stage ,when you are ready:)

    Your comment about the possibility of your own child dying has prompted me to respond so I can tell you to absolutely put that thought out of your head. :) Thats just your normal 'mammy' worries magnified by something odd that has happened. Your vision does not imply anything of the sort, and I really dont want you worrying that it does.

    Forget what your mother thinks. Forget what its meant to mean. What did it mean to you, in your gut? Looking at it as an outsider, you long for another child, maybe you are being reassured (or are reassuring yourself) that this will happen. The main thing though, is not to get tied up in knots trying to understand it. You'll only end up worrying about all kinds of possibilities as you do above. If you have a spiritual belief, and are happy to accept that this was a message or communication, trust that it only had your best interests at heart and was meant for reassurance.

    I have had experiences of a similar nature, which I would prefer not to share here just now. But I didnt over analyise them, I just accepted them as nice experiences, which is what they were.

    i havint read all your post (short attention span,sorry) but if you have visioned your child dying, this usually means a new begining, the end to something, like you have reached the end of a chapter in your life and begining a new one, .. to 'see' or vision or dream of death is almost all of the time a new begining :)
