    Shocking news about Dave to think we all went to the compound together last weekend and this weekend hes gone. Rest in peace Dave you will be missed at Fingal.

    just seen this now,shocked to say the least.
    only dealt with on boards never face to face but was always a gent and a fantastic supplier of quality surplus stuff.
    atleast these last few years he was indulging in something he loved so much and made a great name for himself for doing so,a master aeg builder and also a sharer of knowledge. RIP Dave

    Arrangements for Dave Barrys funeral :- Whitehall church Tuesday @ 6pm, then burial after 10am Mass Wednesday Whitehall Church.Barry David Balrothery North Co Dublin and late of Santry and former Nurse of St. Ita’s Hospital Portrane, June 17th 2012 (suddenly) beloved husband of the late Bríd, sadly missed by his loving Partner Hazel his son Alan, sisters Patricia, Nora and Helen, brother Peter, Shauna, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law. nieces, nephew, relatives extended family and friends Rest in Peace. Removal tomorrow (Tuesday) evening from Lanigan’s Funeral Home Beaumont Road to the Church of The Holy Child Swords Road Whitehall arriving at 6 o’clock. Funeral on (Wednesday) after 10 o’clock Mass to Dardistown Cemetery.

    I just heard the very sad news about Dave leaving us,
    he was a great guy with lots of time for everyone,
    I always enjoyed his visits to me and endless chat,
    he was a kind soul, generous and supportive.
    I send all my condolences to his Family and Friends.
    He'll be greatly missed by everyone who knew him.

    Just back from holidays and read the sad news about Daves passing
    I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with Dave a couple of times and he was a very friendly and knowledge person and an all round nice guy
    The world will be a poorer place now that Dave is no longer amongst us

    My deepest sympathies go to his family and friends
