Hey, just wondering if what software is needed for the course.
I'm hoping to get a Macbook, but would the software work without the added cost of buying bootcamp?

Bootcamp is free. The Windows licence isn't though (but you can, as a student, get Windows for free through Dreamspark).

Don't know about this particular course, but you can usually get away with using any UML tool. Many are cross-platform, like ArgoUML. Others will probably want to use something like Microsoft Visio or Borland Together (shudder).

In other words, wouldn't worry about it too much just yet :)
