Although I think it initially looked somewhat adorable. I'm starting to have doubts. I'm a little concerned that music was rather loud and I'm not exactly sure whether those were howls of comfort.

Depends on how disorientated she is. If you've ever been seriously disorientated by sound then the fear of actually moving is almost, if you pardon the pun, paralysing. I don't know how a dog would or should react though.

I don't think that dog is in any way distressed - the cocking of the head is a clear sign of piqued interest, and Northern breeds are often pretty vocal. If a dog is freaked out, it has totally different body language, and it is very unlikely to just sit around in front of the speaker.
