    I have 2 machines.
->(laptop (with all) running winXP pro on a network)
->(p2 333mhz, 196meg SD, 2gig HD, 1.8Gig HD, nic but no CD rom Drive)

I want to install my win2000 CD on the shTty machine but from my laptop, is that possible?

If you boot the old machine with a network boot disk and map a drive to the server it should work. I would recommend copying the i386 folder to the client and then begin the install from the 'local' folder.
