Post Penguin Fiverr backlinks... What still works?

    HEY GUYS!

    Since Google is cracking down on unnatural backlinks, I wanted to ask you guys what methods you are using for generating and encouraging natural and natural-ish backlinks?

    There seems to be a lot of gigs on Fiverr where people are just spamming blogs or placing links on sites that already have hundreds of links.

    Has anyone had any luck finding penguin-proof, rank-improving gigs on Fiverr?
    Perhaps there are still some genuine bloggers somewhere who post unique content and a small number of links.

    bounce over to webmaster central on Google and have a look at
    a) the whinging by people that have gamed the rankings for years
    b) some of the advice given and the replies from people in Google (rare enough its has to be said)

    Yes, the whole 1000's of backlinks for €5 thing is done now. I communicate with an SEO guy in Canada who's been at this for years. He says that unnatural links will only raise red flags with Google and can lead to penalties. It really comes down to building the links legitimately and naturally.
