Yup! I'll be there! Doing Maths and Physics!

    What about yourself?

Aberdeen hopefully :L But failing that either NUIG or NUIM. I might put DCU down as a just in case, considering how badly my French oral went.

Business and French. I really like the look of the place and anyone I know who went there has nothing but praise for it. Hopefully see you in September!

Oh dear jesus! Why would you subject yourself to that! The 2 most horrifically boring subject ever thought of in the good o'l Dept Of Ed!

Yeah, it really looks amazing! I love how it's so open, pragmatic and utilitarian! I went to TCD for work exp. and I hated it up there! It was too old looking! YUK!

Plus, the poor folks in UCC have to sit a leaving cert every year! 10 exams in 3 weeks, where as U.L. is semesterized! 5 exams every now and then.

Are you staying inside? Off campus / on campus?

I'd probably say the same about Maths and Physics! Each to their own, I guess. Aye I've met a few people from UCD and they had an air of superiority I didn't like.

Already have a place booked in Plassey village :D What about yourself?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 220 ✭✭smithy77

@Steve: Yeah its a long way:p Luckily I have an auntie who lives in Bray, Wicklow who I can stay with which makes life much easier:D

I am hopefully going to stay inside but off campus. Found a place that's like a grand cheaper than plassey LOL.

I'm really looking forward to the clubs and socs. U.L. puts A LOT of their funding into them! Badminton here I come!

Yeah, price was a concern but I think I'd be better off on campus for the first year anyway. In any case I think I'm right in saying that the on campus accommodation is relatively cheap compared to other colleges?

I'll definitely be getting involved in the ol' footy myself!
