    what is the point of the the rewording of prayers in English? they do not seem to make sense anymore.

    The new translations are a better representation of what it should have been in the first place, and better links with the Bible quotes they refer to in places.

    I'm old enough to remember the way it was before it was changed in the 70s, the new missal is practically the same as it use to be - I love it! ;)
