Was only a few days ago I was delighted the season was over......

Now, I can't wait for all the muppetry to be over! Roll on August !

    When's the fixtures out???

Give us £15m and I'd pack Sktrel bags himself. Problem is that it's all bull**** though. I just hope the board/new DOF see through it and don't give him more than £60k contract.

£15m after the season he's had?

    Gtfo !

Twitter and social media sure do create mayhem !

Btw, AVB would be the type of manager that should be looked at,if Kenny is going to be replaced.

Not jokers in the category of Roy Hodgson/Martinez/Rodgers etc.

    + 1

AVB was blamed at Chelsea for been too quick in making changes, trying to move older players on, while that mightn't have worked with them I strongly believe it's what's needed at LFC.

Carra & to an extend Gerrard in the coming years are going to be in the same situation as Terry, Lampard & Cole.

We need a manager with a five - ten year plan who can buy astutely and promote from the academy. Add in a point to prove in the EPL & AVB is your man.

You mean the good-solid he had but looked excellent because of the dross around him? There is no way he's worth any more than £15m, I'd be delighted to get that for him.

Agents do better with big money transfers I'd imagine.
They do but only if the player wants to leave, which im hoping isnt the case.
Otherwise they would be doing their job of trying to get the best deal they can for their client.

Anyone know if these agents get a percentage of their clients weekly wage ?

If United got Phil fúcking Jones for £16.5m then Skrtel is worth £20m at the very least.

That, and a few million for Downing, Kuyt, Maxi, Aquilani, Joe Cole, Pacheco and we are looking at a decent enough Transfer Kitty, whether Dalglish/New Manager gets any money from the owners or not.

Coates moves into the starting lineup, Wilson comes back from Loan, and takes the backup position and CB is sorted. (Wishful thinking Wilson is shíte)

Enough money floating around for a decent Striker, a good CM and a new Winger.

Bang! Liverpool Premier League Champions 2012-13.

    Easy.

Then again knowing our negotiation skills, we'll trade Skrtel for Lescott or Pantelimon or Roque Santa Cruz, and give them a few Million on the side.

If Lescott went for 20m. I'd want that at least. He ain't going anywhere.

Agger dross ? Your posts are bizarre.

They paid 24m for Lescott so they can pay at least 20m for Skrtel. Its the going rate for any English club's player of the season it seems. (Downing)

Henderson won young player so you never know, they might decide to offer us 40m. Here's hoping... :p

Kenny leaked the Skrtel rumour to stop us talking about him going :pac:

Jones was 19, Skrtel is 27. Therein lies the difference.

No way Skrtel is worth more than £15m but if City are in for him, which I don't think they are, normal value doesn't exactly apply. :pac:

Skrtel looked like his old self whenever Agger wasnt beside him. He is very replaceable, Agger is not!

yeah, this has all gone a bit nuts.

nothing has be confirmed on anything, anywhere, and this all happens.

good grief, it's going to be quite a summer.

Agreed. If we manage to get 20m for Skrtel I'd nearly invest it all in bubble wrap and oxegen tanks for Agger. :D

Phil Jones is ****e, Skrtel is good therein lies the difference.

Henderson is younger then Ronaldo, but I know who i'd want on my team.

Agger isn't fit often enough. When he is then it's fine because Skrtel has some who can hold his hand then. Without Agger, which is far to often we look very poor. If you think Skrtel is amazing then you either need to watch him or brush up on your footballing knowledge, my guess is the later. I forgot supporting a team meant I had to how extremely stupid viewpoints on how good they are.

It's funny cos it's the second time he's stepped down.

    Christian Purslow, is that you?

but looked excellent because of the dross around him

Well, he partnered Agger 27 times in the league this season. He was our MOTM in many of those.

I was a critic of his before this season at times, but he impressed me greatly this season.

Rolly eyes ? Always a good way to make a point.

Yeah, that's why he played 29 PL games for the team that finished second on 89 points this season.

He had a poor second half to the season but was pretty good in the first. His potential is a higher value than Skrtel's current ability. I can't see how too many could argue with that.

Wonder how long the actual thread will last?....Longer than if it was about Ferguson I guess.

That's just another ****e non-news report. "We have no news, so something must be up" bull****.

Fairly certain that was either robbed from Football365.com or was robbed from wherever f365 got it.

And you must be Damien Commolli. Quickly, bid £35m for Skrtel. :pac:

Agger struggled finding form for most of the season due to not being able to get a decent run in the team. Sktrel never hugely impressed me, I mean he's played well but nothing to go overboard and proclaim as some great or even throw a big contract at. I think it would be quite easy to replace him with some nearly as younger and with more potential who could do a job just as good as him.

Problem is if he goes he is most likely to be replaced with Carra.

Right. Cos Damien Comolli is famous for driving hard bargains.

I don't see why that would be the case. We are getting into a lot of assumptions going down that road. As a player Sktrel is good, nothing more. There is certainly no way we should be dumb even to turn down £15m for him.
