any idea when we get irish postcodes?

    Not sure what's been agreed if anything.
    New TomTom units are now using Go Codes.

    Just wondering this, pain in the rear, we were supposed to have this years ago. How over budget are they at this stage?

    Whilst loc8 is probably the best solution it seems to have run out of steam.

    It's down to bureaucratic inertia all wrapped up in red tape.

    Have been using the Loc8 codes in my Garmin on trips back to Ireland and they work very well for that. But I'd know long in advance exactly where I'm going to so can take the time to figure out each code before hand online and have a list ready to tap into my Garmin once I pick up the hire car with no more faffing required. Absolute pain in the neck trying to search for locations in Ireland just using the Garmin when you are on holiday and so can't be messing about with the quirks of trying to find some places.

    Quite right - indeed they are - across Go, Start and Via models

    Released in an update in August last year -
    "Version 10.501 (10.613 / 10.614)
