I wonder how the 50th anniversary show is going to pan out. I don't think that Gaybo or Pat will make a mess of it; but if Tubridy does not sharpen up at all; it will be a night to forget for RTE.

Let hope this upcoming night will not be ruined for the sake of it.

Whats the difference between dementia and alzheimers?

    Dementia
Dementia is not a single disease, but rather a non-specific illness syndrome (i.e., set of signs and symptoms) in which affected areas of cognition may be memory, attention, language, and problem solving.

    Alzheimers
Alzheimer's disease (AD), also known in medical literature as Alzheimer disease, is the most common form of dementia. There is no cure for the disease, which worsens as it progresses, and eventually leads to death. It was first described by German psychiatrist and neuropathologist Alois Alzheimer in 1906 and was named after him

I don't disagree, but he could have explained all that at the start. It was very confusing for most of the interview.

Also, we already had a Health section when Prof. Crown was on. That should have been enough for one week.

I am looking forward to it. I think Gay Byrne will relish the chance to show the young pretender how it should be done.

Yes I wonder what is behind it, is it some contamination of our food or chemicals we are exposed to in the environment that brings it on.

I hate that camp fcuker on the bulmers ads

If these Bulmers lads have lived in Clonmel for generations as previous ads suggest, why does the big fella have a Northern accent?

Joe, I for one am for giving Tubs a break, I've nothing personal against the guy, but there's been a number of bad LLS's in a row and over the season almost all have been a shambles, badly put together, long segments for sh*t guests, short segments for good guests, the guy can't interview properly and so on and so forth. Just stating facts.

I don't think this can be seriously allowed continue into another season of the LLS.

Tonight and the rushing off of John Sheahan and co. to make way for Una Healy really sealed it for me and a lot of others.

Anita Notaro I think. She's an author.

Just wondering .. is it too late to ring John Sheahan to come back on the show... or is Bressie out the back teaching him about musicality?

When is the appropriate day & time of day to discuss dimentia?

ps..The LLS in all its years has never been filed under "comedy only"
