Lads, I spotted one of these for sale on DoneDeal, what are general opinions? Not much online as regards reviews and stuff. Do you think he's looking for too much for it?

I'll more than likely just end up modding it, but either way :P

Never saw one of those before. Ad states it's got a floyd rose, so it might be worth the money if it has.

Cheers for the reply. I never saw one either, I've kind of fallen in love with it a bit :P Yeah it has a floyd, but you know yourself, its licenced floyd not original. I'm just is this what you could define as "good squier" or "bad squier" if you ge

I was actually looking at one a while back... My experience with Squires in general is that some of them are made brilliantly, and some aren't... Play it, see if you like it and if you do, swap out the pickup's for something a little better and you'll be delighted with it. One of my most played guitars is a Squire Strat - I play it more than some guitars that cost me over ten times what I paid for it (that said it only cost me €60 though ;) )

Yeah, the only way to know if it's worth the money is to check it out. The tremolo installation would be something to give close inspection to, if it wasn't installed from new, to be sure it wasn't a botch job.
