4.50 Sandown Weapon Of Choice 2.94 €3.00 laid to win, goes well on good to soft and the trip suits, accepting that, even in this depleted field I don't see enough to warrant a price shy of 2/1.

5.05 P'town Une Artiste 3.05 €4.0 laid to win, trip and ground to suit but there are so many credible alternatives the 2/1 looks too short, has been busy lately too.

Baby Shine 2.3 €4.00 laid to be placed.

I'll be putting a small bit more effort into the log for as long as it lasts...

1.55 Navan Watsdachances 3.2 €4.0 laid to win, the ground may not suit.

2.10 Ludlow Freddys Star 4.1 €3.00, I'd give four of the others a decent chance along with this fellow so the 3/1 looks a tad skimpy.

2.25 Navan Atacx 2.04 €5.00, too many competitors to make this one viable at the price, the cut may or may not suit, has been beaten in both starts so far by lengths.

2.45 Ludlow Nobunaga 3.5 €10 backed, I think Take of Shocs has a tough task to concede weight to this one who does seem to jump well and seems a genuine 2m horse. Westlin Winds wants longer than 2m so rather than lay I'm backing in this.

3.15 Ludlow Trop Fort 3.15 €5.0 backed, again, for value reasons I'm going backing rather than laying, both trip and ground suit this one, the same can't be said for the nearest rival in the betting, Little Fritz, who didn't seem to enjoy the step up to 20f lto, also HC debut off 115 is a bit iffy. By no means a two horse race of course.

3.25 Navan Kissed 1.47 €8.00 laid to win, looks a tad short stepping up to 10f, impressed here in October over 8f though.

3.50 Ludlow One Term 2.88 €5.00 laid to win, seems to be more than a few with chances, the McCoy factor no doubt has contributed to some price shrinkage on this one, Clarion Call looks quite appealling back at this level but I'm happier to lay in this one.

7.15 Sedgefield Mon Chevalier 3.55 €4.00 laid to win, this 9 year old might well be harshly enough treated at the moment off 112, one won from 8 runs over fences and that was off 10lbs lower.

The Thirsty Bricky does appeal at least as much and might well defy the 7lb rise in this 0 to 115 race with conditions to suit.

4.25 Curragh Bob Le Beau 38 €4.00 backed to win

I wouldn't be thinking that St Nicholas Abbey is a dead cert for this, certainly won't be making it into my home and hosed log :pac: All jokes aside St Nicholas Abbey has only once tried the 10f trip, here last April and that resulted in a 6l beating when 4/11 fav on soft ground.

St Nicholas Abbey has ran on less than good ground on four other occasions, winning two of them, both of those runs were over 8f and were back in 2009.

Despite having the guts of a stone on the rest of these on adjusted ratings I wouldn't be at all sure that St Nicholas Abbey will win this tomorrow.

The 2nd fav will no doubt be Sharestan, the surface suits but I'm not sure about the 10f trip and I can't understand the price discrepancy between Sharestan and Bob Le Beau.

Bob Le Beau won't mind the surface either and like the fav I feel might well prefer a tad further but at the price I think Bob Le Beau is worth a bet.

Bob Le Beau potential in running lay too
