Scale Wizard, I know the science behind these is basic enough, but if they helped it would be worth it for me, are they a scam or do they help?

    thanks

I have something similar here. it dosen't get rid of the scale but changes the calcium so it wont stick to things and cause corrosion in pipes or appliances. Still have to clean the shower heads :):)

I'm flying through electric showers, I have to filter all my water and and I'm putting calgon in the water tank in the attic every now and then to flush out the shower.

there was a flyer send around the houses near me a few months ago, I lost it though, but it was some half price deal on a treatment centrer for a house it came with a water filter, its a pity i lost it as i wanted to post it here for advice.
said it was half price at 759 euro if ordered before the end of march or something.

I drink water from the tap, hard water actually tastes nice but I filter it for the kettle. I dont have an electric shower so cant comment there. We just steep the shower head every 6 months or so in citric acid and it's brand new.

Bought a scale wizard about a year ago. Installed it but could see no noticeable difference in the amount of lime scale in the shower head etc. very disappointed. After a couple of months we decided to get a water treatment system put in. Got a friend to install it and the unit cost approx €450 to purchase. Running costs are approx €8 per month (1 bag of salt nuggets) but this is dependant on your water usage.

Can't recommend the treatment system enough. Scale completely gone, water feels softer in the shower, kettle clean etc.
