Why does my Music disappear from Itunes everytime i shut down windows?

    everytime i turn on my laptop after shutting it down my itunes library is empty and i have to import everything again and re-download all my purchases? is there a reason for this?

    Is it only happening to iTunes? Or is it also happening to other folders like Documents, Pictures etc?
