      Fair play to the woman for taking action against the scum who attacked her home. And shame on the Gardaí for refusing to act.

      To be fair, as has been discussed, the photo is probably a photo shop and even if it's not we're not sure they're actually gardai in the photo.

      I think these people are forgetting how cheaply you can run the army, versus what it costs to run the Police force. A newly qualified private earns about 16,000 a year basic pay. What does a newly qualified guard earn?
