I think Roy will get a good reception,
AS he should, Done his best, And no one wanted to give him a chance,
Yes i know he bought in some useless players,
But can't see the man getting booed

Would hate to see him get booed and I very much doubt he will. Will be interesting to see what kenny does, bring in some youth and field a different team to the norm seeing as it should be one of the easier games or does he maintain the team or team there abouts that hell be playing in the fa cup final. Would like to see more coates and sterling as is the general feeling around here

I don't think he'll be booed (or cheered obviously). Don't think he'll get any attention from our fans bar the odd "whats the score Woy" if we're ahead.

"Hah, do you remember when Roy Hodgson was our manager Ted? That's mad."

In honour of Kenny's glorious predecessor's return I thought I'd plonk this old gem up again.

And if anyone is a bit woolly about why we sacked Hodgson i'd head over to the Art Vandelay's photshop thread on RAWK. Pg 761 - his top 10 quotes.

Met Gerrard in Portugal on Wednesday and he said we should win this weekends game. Him and Martin Kelly got some tan!

I reckon he will get, for the most part, the exact same reception that the travelling support gave him when we played WBA at their place, and that was to pretty much ignore the man and concentrate on shouting on Liverpool instead.

Will be back over for the match on Sunday and I have no intention of paying any heed to him. I will not be booing at him but I sure as hell won't be clapping for a man who as manager of Liverpool came out and tried to say that the Merseyside Derby was no different to any other game and that the supporters should see it that way as well. Not to mention the fact that he tried to claim that a 2-0 loss to Everton was a good result.

Hope we stuff West Brom, roar on our own, and then look towards the next game.

You'd think Luis, Coates and Henderson would still be there hitting the bar after the season we've had.

Do you think King Kenny is up to it?

He did bring pool the CC and could still yet win the F.A Cup but is he the man to get Liverpool back into the Champions league and get ye challenging for major honors again?

Thought Coates and Suarez had a great sense of humour in the video....Henderson did well in the keepy uppies as Coates was trying to put him off

    http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/latest-news/fowler-suarez-is-outstanding

Robbie Fowler today paid tribute to the 'outstanding' Luis Suarez - and admitted he would have relished linking up with the Uruguayan during his time at Anfield.

The man known as 'God' to Liverpool supporters has been impressed with the form of the Reds' No.7 and his ability to not only score goals, but also carve open defences and create chances for his teammates.

Fowler told Liverpoolfc.tv: "Luis has been fantastic since he joined the club - his all-round game has been outstanding.

"He's been a breath of fresh air and caused defences all sorts of problems. He can be very satisfied with how he's played overall this season."

On how he would have felt lining up alongside Suarez during his 369 appearances for Liverpool, Fowler added: "For me as a goalscoring player, you always want players around you who can create.

"In the games I've seen this season, Luis has created a lot of chances. As a player, I would thrive on playing with someone like him.

"For goalscorers, those type of players are great to play with."

Suarez was on target for Liverpool during last Saturday's FA Cup semi-final victory over Everton at Wembley.

The 25-year-old's fellow strike partner Andy Carroll also found the back of the net with a late header to send the Reds into next month's final against Chelsea.

Fowler has been impressed with their partnership and believes they can continue to go from strength to strength as a pairing.

"I think they've been tremendous in the last few games and they've worked well together," he said. "They have looked a real threat.

"They were brilliant in the semi-final against Everton, both of them scored and I don't think you could have scripted that any better.

"It was a fantastic game for the two of them. They've scored a few goals together as a partnership recently and let's hope as supporters they can continue to go on and on."

Suarez and Carroll will be hoping to help Liverpool to a third consecutive victory on Sunday when West Bromwich Albion visit Anfield.

It's one of three matches the Reds will contest before the FA Cup final on May 5, and Fowler believes players will be eager to impress Kenny Dalglish ahead of the Wembley showpiece.

He said: "At the start of the season, we all wanted to finish as high up in the league as possible and it's still important we go into every league game from now until the end of the season, try and get as many points as possible and finish as high as we can.

"I know it's a bit of a cliché in football, but every game is vitally important now, especially with the Cup final coming up.

"Players will want to play well and impress to try and get a place in the Cup final.

"Let's hope they go out tomorrow against West Brom and get a great win and another morale boost to add to the ones we've had of late."

great to see sterling training with the seniors still...

around this time last year saw robinson and flanno stepping up, although slightly forced due to injuries.

can only hope raheem gets a chance in the closing games. i've been one of those calling for the kids to get a chance in the prem, but now the entire squad should be fighting for places for the fa cup...

likes of maxi and kuyt should really be busting themselves for a spot, cos as sad as is it to mention is, it could be their swan song.
